 Things for Jadon Sancho seem to happen in 7's! What do I mean?

Well, at 7 years of age, Sancho began his path to his enormous price tag with humble beginnings in the Watford Youth Setup. Of course, it is hard to achieve dizzy heights at age 7, however everyone has to start somewhere, and this is where he started his journey.

Forward wind 7 years, and we find Sancho achieving his next rung on the ladder of success. This is when he signed for Manchester City. The price is reportedly a measly 66k, rising to 500k with add ons. If only he cost that today! Alleged concerns about his behaviour, specifically efforts to engineer a way out of City, led to his being sold to Borussian Dortmund on 31 August 2017. The price? Still quite reasonable given what is happening today, 8 million pounds. 

You might wonder why Sancho would push hard for a move away from Manchester City, given that they are so successful. Apparently, he was concerned about not featuring in the first team squad, something that the move to Dortmund provided a solution to.

Sancho's 3rd 7 Strikes

So now, at 21 years of age, following moves at 7 and 14, Sancho is reported to have sealed a move back to Manchester. Not the Manchester that he was at before...City. No, rather to the club known for their financial muscle...United.

The fee that will reportedly be paid? A jaw dropping 73.1 million pounds! If only he still cost 66k! Metro News reports that this has now been confirmed by Dortmund..so, apparently, no spuds here!
